1. What’s in Making Money Easy?

Making Money Easy is made up of ten specially designed modules which are divided into three levels that go from Basic to Intermediate to Advanced. Each module and level builds upon the information learned in the previous ones.

Each module is narrated to support the learning experience and comes with a variety of quizzes, real life examples and additional suggested content to help bring the learning to life! Please visit this page to learn more.

2. Why choose Making Money Easy?

Making Money Easy has been specifically designed for children, teens and adults who have a mild to moderate intellectual disability. The modules are narrated to help learners focus on the task and examples and quizzes are provided to reinforce the learning. Each module can be replayed as many times as needed to help embed the information. Modules are fun and engaging and use rewards to continually encourage the participant.

 

Teachers and parents can access progress reports to see how the learner is progressing in the program.

3. Can I use my NDIS funds to pay for Making Money Easy?

Yes, you can purchase the Making Money Easy annual subscription via your NDIS plan as daily adaptive technology, which sits in core support. Learn more at www.ndis.gov.au.

4. Can organisations purchase Making Money Easy subscriptions?

Yes, organisations can purchase 12 weeks or annual subscriptions to be used in-house by your participants. Please visit this page to learn more.

5. Can I use an internationally accepted debit or credit card to enrol?

Yes, as long as your card is allowed to be used within Australia.

6. Do you offer a group membership at a discounted rate?

Organisations can take advantage of our group membership discounts. Please fill out the form here and someone from the Making Money Easy team will contact you.

7. Do you have a free trial?

Yes we offer everyone a 7-day free trial so you can experience Making Money Easy without any obligation. You can take advantage of it by signing up today!

8. How do we make sure that they only get one free trial?

When you start your first subscription on Making Money Easy, it’ll start with a free trial, which lets you try our paid learning program for free. After the free trial ends, your free trial will automatically become a paid subscription unless you cancel your free trial.

9. Can I use Moodle on my mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android)?

Yes, you can use the official Moodle Mobile app on your iOS iPhone/iPad or Android mobile device!

10. What is Assistive Technology for learning?

Assistive Technology is defined as ‘any device or system that allows individuals to perform tasks they would otherwise be unable to do or increases the ease and safety with which tasks can be performed' (World Health Organisation, 2004). Making Money Easy is a platform that uses Assistive Technology to enable student learning, specifically in the case of individuals with intellectual disabilities. 11. My NDIS is plan managed. Can I purchase Making Money Easy even if I don’t have access to a credit card?

Yes, you can purchase Making Money Easy if you have a NDIS managed plan and if don’t have a
credit card. Please speak to the team at Participate Australia, and we can charge your plan manager
directly.

 

We will need to get a letter from you or your therapist such as an occupational therapist, recommending Making Money Easy for you, so that we can bill the plan manager directly. We will
need some details from you such the name of your plan manager, an email address for the accounts department at your Plan Manager, your name and your NDIS Number. Once we get this, we will
place your order for Making Money Easy directly with your plan manager. Once this is paid and approved you will be given a unique code to use when logging into the Making

You will insert your code in the shopping cart section of the website, next to apply coupon, and set up your account. Or click here makingmoneyeasy.org.au/my-cart/.

 

We strongly suggest that you try Making Money Easy before you purchase it through the NDIA portal. You could do this by asking a friend or family member to use their credit card so that you can set up your free 7-day trial on the website. They can cancel the trial within 7 days, and they will not be charged.

 

If you do not get a chance to access to the free 7-day trial, you can claim a refund within 7 days if you find that Making Money Easy isn’t right for you.

12. My NDIS is self-managed. Can I purchase Making Money Easy even if I don’t have access to a credit card?

Yes, you can purchase Making Money Easy if you manage your NDIS plan and if you don’t have a credit card. Please speak to the team at Participate Australia, and we can charge your directly. We will need some details from you such your name, your participant’s name, the participant’s NDIS number and an email address for the accounts. Once we get this, we will place your order for
Making Money Easy directly with you.

 

Once this is paid and approved you will be given a unique code to use when logging into the Making

13. Can I purchase Making Money Easy if my NDIS plan is NDIA agency managed?

Yes, you can purchase the Making Money Easy annual subscription via your NDIS plan as a low cost assistive technology, which is paid for out of your consumables funding. Consumables funding is listed in the Core Supports section of your NDIS plan.

If your NDIS plan is NDIA agency managed, then funds are billed directly via the NDIA portal. This means that you won’t be able to use a credit card to set up your Making Money Easy account. You
can speak to the team at Participate Australia, and we can charge your plan directly.
We will need to get you to review and sign a service agreement relating specifically to Making Money Easy. Once this is signed, we will get some details from you such as you name and your NDIS Number. We will directly log onto the portal and place your order for Making Money Easy.
